Ouzoud Waterfalls
1 Day Excursion
Private or Shared Trip Available.
Departure Time: 8.0 am
Return Time 6.0 pm.
This tour takes us east of Marrakech with a journey time of approximately 2.45 hours
Ouzoud is the second highest waterfall in Africa after the Victoria Falls in Zambia. There is a guided walk around to the falls with some magnificent scenery to see and photograph. There are several Barbary Apes that live by the Falls and there is often the opportunity to actually feed them. Also Barbary Falcons can sometimes be spotted flying against the cliff face.
On arrival at the base of the falls, you can take a short boat trip across the other side to a restaurant and this gives some stunning views of the falls. There are several small shops around the ‘walk’ selling traditional Moroccan ceramics, clothing and beautiful items for the home such as lanterns and decorative candles.
There are the usual stops for refreshments both ways.

Oh the river is wise,
the river he touches my live like the waves on the sand
and all roads lead to tranquility base (Ruhepunkt)
where the frown (Stirnrunzeln) on my face disappears
