Essaouira is a beautiful coastal town[medina] set on the Atlantic Ocean. Listed as a World Heritage Site, you will soon realise why. There are old ramparts with mounted brass cannons so the city could defend the walls from ancient invaders. There are several restaurants and Essaouira is famous for the fish and seafood cafes serving the daily catch . The large promenade on the beachfront has a sandy beach for bathers and a tour around the fish market is recommended.
You will be collected from your Hotel or Riad before 8.0 am and set off for our destination. There are several stops along the way for refreshments and toilets. We will also look out for the goats in the famous Argan Trees, a great photo opportunity. There is a visit to the Women’s Cooperative where the Argan Oil is processed. The oil is used for a wide range of products in Morocco : beauty products and hair oil as well as used daily in cooking.
We will leave Essaouira to arrive back in Marrakech at around 6.0 pm.

The tour starts at 09.00am:
Accompanied by a guide, leave the city behind and head south towards the region known as the Cradle of Malbec. Set amongst gentle hills and overlooked . Shortly after leaving the city, we join Chacras’s winding road, following the famous curves until we arrive at the main square.
